2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Destined for US Next Summer

During the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Mitsubishi unveiled its redesigned Outlander crossover model which will reach American dealers early next summer.

The seven-passenger Outlander went on sale in Japan this week with a price tag of around $30,000 based on recent conversation rates. The Japanese automaker has not yet determined pricing for the American market, but did confirm that it will be available as a 2014 model next year.

Joining the standard Outlander model will be its plug-in hybrid variant, which debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The Outlander PHEV is due in the U.S. late 2013 or early 2014.
