Most Read Car Reviews of the Week: December 9-15
This week on AutoGuide, the car review that received the most attention featured the all-new 2013 Honda Civic.
The 2013 Civic, which underwent a redesign just one year into it’s product cycle, uses an unchanged powertrain with a 140 hp 1.8L and a best of 28 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.
Next on the list is a comparison between two summertime loving cars, the 2013 Mazda MX-5 and the 2013 Mini Cooper S. The Mini makes more power, torque, and achieves better fuel economy, though the Mazda is quite a bit cheaper.
Third on the most read list is a review of the 2013 Audi A4. The A4 makes 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque all while achieving 22/30/25 mpg City/Highway/Combined.
Next up is a car that isn’t released yet, the 2014 Lexus IS. We were given the chance to get behind the wheel of a 2014 Lexus IS prototype, the biggest changes to which are an eight-speed transmission and a larger wheelbase.
Last on the list is Toyota’s largest sedan offering, the 2013 Avalon Hybrid. The Avalon Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that’s supplemented by an electric motor. Total system output is 200 hp.
