2014 Toyota Tundra Pricing Announced, Starts at $25,920

The 2014 Toyota Tundra will retain the same starting price as the previous truck, starting at $25,920 (not including a $995 shipping fee) for a regular cab 4×2 SR grade truck with a V6 engine.

On the flip side, both the new 1794 Edition and Platinum trimmed Tundras will start at $47,320, and offer customers a choice between two different premium trim lines at the same price. In the middle of the road, Toyota’s volume tuck configuration, the SR5 equipped with the 5.7-liter engine will also keep the same MSRP as the 2013 truck. The biggest price change comes to the third trim up the list, the Limited, which is now $2000 cheaper than it was last year.

With new standard features in the 2014 Tundra, the company says that on average, a comparable 2014 Tundra will be $263, or 0.7 percent cheaper than a 2013 model. Those new standard features include a backup camera on every trim along with Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming.

At its base level, the Tundra is slightly more expensive than the Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Ford F-150, and about $2000 more than the RAM 1500, making it the most expensive half-ton. For the luxury version however, it undercuts Ford’s top-trim Limited trim by about $3,000, and even rings in cheaper than a dressed up Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71.

For 2014 the Tundra got a refresh which mainly dealt with the ride, handling and interior of the truck, leaving the powertrains unchanged.
