Watch Corvettes get Swallowed by a Massive Sinkhole in Corvette Museum
A large sinkhole that opened up under the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. managed to ruin a collection of rare Corvettes, and now there is video evidence of the event.
The hole opened around 5:40am on February 12, setting off an alarm which alerted the fire department of the issue. No one was in the museum at the time to witness the event, but security cameras were on hand to catch the carnage.
The local fire department says that the sink hole measures about 39 feet across and 24 feet deep.
The museum has graciously uploaded a host of videos showing off the hole as it sits now, along with the security camera footage of the floor collapsing. Watch the videos below.
