2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid Named IIHS Top Safety Pick

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named the 2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid a Top Safety Pick.

The 2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid earned a “good” rating in the moderate overlap front, side, head-restraint and seating tests, allowing it to be an IIHS Top Safety Pick for the second consecutive year. Standard safety features on the C-Max Hybrid include MyKey, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, driver and passengers airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, a safety-canopy system, SOS Post Crash Alert System and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Available as options on the 2014 C-Max Hybrid is a rearview camera, active park assist, forward sensing system, reverse sensing system and rain-sensing wipers.
