Ford Issues Stop Sale on Certain C-Max, Focus Models
Ford has informed its dealers that they must immediately stop selling certain C-Max and Focus models due to a glitch in the steering assembly.
These specific C-Max and Focus models built in Michigan between August 8 and 15 may not have enough ball bearings in the steering gear assembly. This could lead to the loss of control, increasing the risk of a collision.
