2015 Ford C-Max Debuts New Looks in Paris

2015 Ford C-Max Debuts New Looks in Paris

A new look for the Ford C-Max has been applied and revealed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The biggest changes to the car are visual with the C-Max adopting the Aston Martin-like grille seen on many other cars in the Ford lineup along with new headlights and a new front fascia. At the back, smaller taillights and a revised hatch are found, while new alloy wheel designs and two additional color choices, red rush and caribou, are now available.

A new look is found on the inside as well thanks to an updated center console that features less stitching and fewer buttons to try and clean up the design. Technology has also been added in force, with the C-Max receiving the whole suite of Ford’s safety upgrades including Active Park Assist, Cross Traffic Alert, Park-Out Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.

2014 Paris Motor Show Coverage

One change had been made under the hood of the C-Max, the addition of a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 120 hp. The European version still offers a 2.0-liter turbodiesel and a small three-cylinder turbo engine as well.

For now, Ford is saying that the updates are specific to the Euro-spec C-Max and will not reveal what if any of the changes will come to the US.
