Jaguar Offers Seat Time in an E-Type to the Public

Ever want to get behind the wheel of a classic Jaguar?

The British automaker has announced the Jaguar Heritage Driving Experience, which will offer the public the opportunity to experience iconic Jaguar models such as the D- and E-Type classics. Based at the automaker’s 200-acre Fen End test facility in the West Midlands, the vehicles used in the Heritage Driving Experience have been taken from the collection of over 500 British heritage cars that Jaguar recently acquired from private collector James Hull.

There will be a variety of events offered costing anywhere between $150 to $3,215. On the lower end of the spectrum are ride-alongs with professional drivers and the option of driving heritage cars as well as modern ones. There is also a Le Mans Experience and includes drives in the C- and D-type, XKSS and F-Type R coupe. Headlining the experience is the Grace and Pace package and includes a full day of driving everything from post-war race cars to sports sedans and convertibles as well as projects from Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations division.

The program will launch next month with the first event taking place November 14.
