2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Mule Spied Testing
Hyundai continues to use a mule to test its next-generation Genesis coupe.
AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers have caught the Korean automaker conducting cold-weather testing for the 2016 Hyundai Genesis coupe in Sweden. The company is still using a mule for the next-gen sports car but it will be built on an extended wheelbase as is evident by the cut outs in the front and rear fenders. In addition, the wheels have been moved out slightly to give more room for passengers.

Looking carefully at the hood, it has been modified to fit a new engine that is rumored to be a V8 from the Genesis sedan. Also, don’t be surprised if Hyundai incorporates its HTRAC all-wheel drive system as an option for the next Genesis coupe. Keep in mind since this is a mule, the styling will change when the model heads to production.
