As we bid farewell to the Bugatti Veyron, its 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine is still an amazing piece of engineering.
The final production Veyron was recently shown at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show before heading to its new owner in the Middle East. But what makes the world’s fastest production car tick? A video has recently surfaced showing off the Bugatti engine assembly line and its guts are truly amazing.

It’s almost interesting to see a “true” engine being assembled in a time where automakers are turning to electric batteries and hybrid powertrains to power their vehicles. Alas, an era is ending with the Veyron’s production ceasing and it’s time to admire the engineering marvel that it was.
