2016 Mustang GT Hood Turn Signal Teased

Ford is bringing back a classic, iconic feature to the 2016 Mustang GT.

The American automaker has released a teaser video that simply says “It’s been a while…” It teases a blinking light on the hood of the 2016 Ford Mustang GT. The company promises more information on the feature will be shared on May 11, but those that know classic Mustangs can already see what’s coming.

In the late 1960s, Ford outfitted its Mustang with a turn signal on the hood that featured a pair of vents with amber lights connected to the turn signals. It appears that Ford will bring back that iconic feature for the 2016 model year Mustang GT.

Expect more details on the feature next week when Ford officially announces the 2016 model.
