Mazda Launches new Slogan: Driving Matters

Mazda is launching a new advertisement campaign centered around a new slogan.

The Japanese automaker has announced “Driving Matters,” an evolution of the “Game Changers” campaign.

The new campaign will showcase various aspects of what makes the driving experience so important and will focus on the importance of vehicle safety, good-looks, fuel efficiency and the fun-to-drive personality of Mazda cars.

The company will launch the campaign with “A Driver’s Life,” which chronicles the major moments and stages in a driver’s life, such as obtaining a license and buying your first car. The ad will feature numerous 2016 Mazda models and will launch Friday, May 22 at movie theaters and on television with a mix of 30- and 60-second ads.

With the new campaign, don’t expect Mazda to get rid of its Zoom-Zoom mantra. The catchy phrase that has been around since 2000 will continue to be part of the company’s DNA.

“Through the Driving Matters campaign, consumers will get a glimpse at why driving matters so much to Mazda and why we obsess over every detail in designing our cars,” said Russell Wager, vice president of marketing for Mazda North America. “Whether it’s for safety purposes or for maintaining our ‘fun to drive’ nature, it all comes down to the fact that driving matters to our customers and it matters to us.”
