2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Looks Mean in Spy Photos

14

While the latest European sports cars debut under the lights of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Chevrolet is out preparing its latest top-dog muscle car, the 2017 Camaro ZL1.

These new spy photos show off many details of the new Chevy ZL1, including the wide exhaust tips, big grille, sporty front bumper and big front lip spoiler. The hood seems to be sourced from the new CTS-V, featuring heat extractors and a pronounced bulge.

If the new super Camaro follows the formula established by the past ZL1, it will get its power from the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 found in the CTS-V and Corvette Z06. In the Cadillac, it cranks out 640 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. Weight loss will definitley be on tap for the ZL1 as well thanks to its new platform, which will surely lead to better lap times and a faster sprint to 60 mph.
