Toyota C-HR Set for Production Debut in March 2016

The production version of the Toyota C-HR, a Nissan Juke Rival, is due to arrive at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016. 

Toyota has already shown two different versions of the C-HR, the most recent of which came at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Though the design stayed mostly the same, the concept gained two doors, likely because the production version will only be offered as a five-door hatchback.

The C-HR will be built on Toyota’s new TNGA modular architecture, which just made its production debut supporting the new Toyota Prius. A hybrid version of the C-HR has already been confirmed by Toyota, though details on gasoline-powered versions are still in the dark. A small four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT is a likely powertrain for the new small crossover.

With the 2016 Prius offering up to 55 mpg, the C-HR will almost certainly be the most efficient vehicle in its class.
