Tesla Model X Base Model Gets a Boost in Range, Price
Tesla has released an online configurator for its Model X crossover, revealing a new base model that packs more power and a higher price.
Now sitting at the bottom of the range is the Model X 75D, which starts at $83,000. Its 75 kWh battery can take the Model X up to 237 miles on a single charge and up to a top speed of 130 mph. The jump from zero to 60 mph takes 6.0 seconds.
This is an increase over the previous Model X 70D base model which carried a 220 mile range and a price tag of $80,000. Moving up in the range there is the Model X 90D which has a range of 257 miles and the high-performance P90D which packs 250 miles.

Tesla just released an updated Model S sedan that features a new face and also received a boost in both range and base price. The brand also recently showed the Model 3 small sedan, which is said to have a range of over 215 miles and will sell for $35,000 at the low end.
