Ferrari’s Latest Bespoke Car Has a Complicated Name, But is Still Simply Beautiful

A mystery Ferrari was spotted not too long ago and no one really knew what it was, but Ferrari has officially cleared up the confusion: This is the Ferrari SP 275 RW Competizione. 

As the Italian automaker’s latest bespoke car, the SP 275 RW Competizione has a complicated name, but it is based on an F12berlinetta and is equipped with the upgraded V12 engine and the gearbox from the limited edition F12tdf. In that car, the V12 outputs 770 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque.

The SP 275 RW Competizione is inspired by the classic 275 GTB of the 1960s. Compared to the F12berlinetta that it’s based on, this one-off supercar has a wider track for a more aggressive stance and has a distinctively ’60’s look with the front engine bay vents. Triple louvres in the rear three-quarter panels also set it apart, and the yellow paint job is also a throwback to the 275 GTB that won Le Mans in 1965.

The SP 275 RW Competizione also gets unique 20-inch forged wheels. No pricing was released, and Ferrari did not say if this car was a special commission for a customer or a part of a special project.
