There are Now Watches to Go With Your Ford GT
Autodromo and Ford have teamed up to create a special series of two watches inspired by the Ford GT supercar.
One of the timepieces celebrates Ford’s racing heritage and is available to the general public, while the other will be limited exclusively to GT owners. The watch that is available for anyone is called the Endurance Chronograph and features a Seiko mecha-quartz movement. Priced from $695, it’s available in five different color styles: Ford Racing Stripes, Le Mans 2016 Dial, Heritage 67 Dial, Heritage 66 Dial, and Le Mans Blue. No matter which style you choose, each watch boasts a 40mm stainless steel case, a 20mm leather band, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The other watch, which is exclusive to new Ford GT owners, is quite different than the Endurance Chronograph. It’s powered by a fully-automatic Swiss fly-black chronograph movement, with a ceramic and stainless steel 43mm case. There’s sapphire glass used for both the crystal and the hands. Pricing for the exclusive watch has not been announced, but considering each one will be tailored to the owner’s specifications, expect it to cost more than the $695 Autodromo is asking for the Endurance Chronograph.
Pre-orders for the owner’s watch will begin next spring, but everyone else can order the Endurance Chronograph now for a mid-December delivery, just in time for the Holidays.
