Three New Caterham Sevens Coming in 2015

The Caterham Seven family is going to grow next year.

According to a recent report from Autocar, Caterham plans to launch three new variants for its Seven model in 2015 while using a new nomenclature that will essentially be based on each model’s power-to-weight ratio. The entry-level 160 model and the top-of-the-line 620R will remain but slotting between the two models will be three models with new names as the company will get rid of the Supersport, Roadsport and Superlight nameplates.

Expect the new models to receive power upgrades and styling enhancements as they replace the current mid-range lineup with every model being offered with an option of an R pack or S pack, with the S pack being the more extreme of the two. Caterham is planning to launch the first of the new models this spring.
