Pack The Road Torq For Your Next Summer Road Trip

It’s dark, your car has broken down on the side of an out-of-the-way country road and there are wolves howling in the bushes a few feet away. Ok, we’re being a little dramatic with the wolves, but what we’re getting at is that it’s no fun being stranded in the dark. So the before you head out on your next cross-country road trip, pack the Road Torq.

About the size of a medium-size handheld flashlight, the compact Road Torq doesn’t need batteries to power its 1 watt LED light and let passing motorists know your vehicle is disabled. You can charge it by cranking the handle for about two minutes, which gives you 15 minutes of LED light. If your biceps are already pumped enough, feel free to plug it into a DC power imput (5V).

Once it’s all powered up, just stand it up on its foldable tripod legs and flip up its top to let others know you need a helping hand or to watch out.

The Road Torq retails for $30 and is endorsed by the American Red Cross.
