As if Nissan‘s GT-R couldn’t get more potent for the track, they’ve announced a special Track Pack for their flagship sports car stating that it’s for “drivers who want an extra edge on the race track.” Modifications to the already capable GT-R includes suspension upgrades, additional brake cooling ducts and glossy black wheels.

The powerplant has been untouched, leaving the 3.8L V6 engine with the standard 542-hp. But the sportier suspension will truly make it an even better handling machine while the interior also gets track-themed upgrades with blue-trimmed Recaro seats and a special Track Pack emblem on the center console. The rear seats were also tossed to reduce weight from the car.

The GT-R Track Pack will launch in March in the UK and come with a $10,000 GBP price premium – roughly $15,633 in USD over the GT-R’s £74,450 ($116,000 USD) sticker.

Check out an interview video with GT-R creator, Kazutoshi Mizuno after the break.
