Mazda Takeri Concept New Photos Released

The Mazda Takeri concept was first unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show and premiered Mazda’s “KODO-soul of motion” design language.

While the Takeri is only a concept, it sheds light on Mazda’s future lineup and will likely be the next Mazda 6. The Takeri is also the first Mazda to have the new i-ELOOP regenerative braking system. In essence the i-ELOOP system works like all other regenerative braking systems, except that it is destined to be outfitted in traditional gasoline cars. The electricity produced by the system will be used to run the cars electrical components, reducing strain on the engine which thus increases fuel efficiency.

Mazda will debut the Takeri concept in Europe at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show and has released new photos of the concept before the debut.
