Mercedes-Benz CL500 Grand Edition: 2012 Geneva Auto Show
Mercedes-Benz is introducing it’s 60th anniversary CL Grand Edition at the Geneva Auto Show this week. We managed to grab a sneak peek today before tomorrow’s official press event.
The special edition CL500 comes standard in an AMG Sports Package with a more aggressive front fascia, rocker panel extensions, a rear bumper cover and larger wheels in either five- or 10-spoke designs.
The commemorative package is available in Europe on the V8 CL500, CL500 4MATIC all-wheel-drive models (shown above) and the V12 CL600.
Customers may choose from special leather upholstery in one of three color schemes: armagnac, deep black and porcelain, though the regular CL trim may be integrated as well.
Those interested in buying a Grand Edition CL should expect to pay 4,850 Euros before tax (roughly $6,402) plus an extra 1,500 Euros for the car with paint as in our pictures, roughly totaling an additional $8,400 above the base price CL.
