2013 Lexus CT200h Gets a Mild Facelift

The Lexus CT200h continues to be the only proper small luxury hybrid offering, and for 2013 it is getting a mild update that offers some new color choices and upgraded tech.

That upgraded tech will include an updated version of Lexus’ Enform infotainment system  meant to make improvements to tis navigation system. Other interior changes include a padded arm rest, and an option to keep the flip-up navigation screen down after start up. To keep up with the eco-friendliness of the engine, the interior uses industry exclusive bamboo and resin speakers, as well as plastic that is 30 percent plant-based.

Performance wise, an upgraded lateral performance damper system has been put in place to minimize body vibration and increase overall ride comfort.

For looks, the CT200h stays the same, still using single halogen or optional twin LED headlights and taillights that incorporate a unique Lexus “L” motif. The front bumper is designed for improved aerodynamics to help fuel consumption and the car’s feel on the road. Two new color options are now available: Silver Lining Metallic and Ultra White available on the F SPORT package.

The F SPORT package gets the CT200h an upgraded suspension, 17-inch high gloss wheels and Black NuLuxe trimmed seats or perforated black leather-trimmed seats.

The CT200h still retains its 42 mpg combined rating, using systems like regenerative braking and exhaust heat recovery system to help.
