Hyundai Accent, Veloster to Get Optional B&M Short Shifters

Driving a manual needs to be a sporty and fun experience and shifters with lots of slops make for a drab drive. Often times, that’s just what we see in economical cars.

Now the aftermarket always has plenty of options for those looking for a shorter throw in their shifters, and B&M is by far the most well-known manufacturer of short shifters. That’s probably why Hyundai had no problems offering them in their Accent and Elantra Touring models in the past, for those looking for a sportier driving experience.

The Korean automaker has clearly heard that owners of the current Accent and Veloster models could do with a short shifter, and it’s happily obliging. Hyundai will begin offering a B&M short shifter as an option for the Accent later this year, with the Veloster to follow shortly after.
