2013 Honda Accord Coupe Gets the HFP Treatment: 2012 SEMA Show
A factory accessory tuner kit for the Honda Accord Coupe might sound like a lot of bolted on cosmetic fluff worth ignoring. And it would be, if it didn’t look this good.
Unveiled today at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, the 2013 Accord Coupe HFP follows after the limited edition Civic Si HFP. Transforming the car’s exterior is a full Honda Factory Performance (HFP) aero kit and decklid spoiler, while the car sits lower thanks to a complete suspension upgrade package that drops the big two-door by 15mm (roughly half an inch).
Completing the look are a set of 19-inch light weight HFP alloy wheels, while the Accord Coupe also gets the obligatory red HFP floor mats (which according to internet lore contribute no less than 15 hp to the total).
Joking aside, the Accord Coupe makes a healthy dose of power on its own with 278-hp and a 0-60 time of just 5.5 seconds.
This attractive package isn’t cheap, however, retailing for $4,650.
