Fisker Bringing Barely Customized Cars to SEMA
Fisker will bring a selection of Karma sedans to SEMA in Las Vegas next week with very little customization.
Most manufacturers work extensively with tuning and body shops to bring jekyll-and-hyde versions of their cars, but not Fisker. Instead, the brand slapped some special paint and partnered with 3M to develop a branded clearcoat buyers can opt to have installed at dealerships.
Despite not going to extremes like most other manufacturers, Fisker will “repaint” a Karma in one of four specially-designed wraps from 3M every day of the show at the adhesive company’s booth.
Those four special wraps will include a matte white finish with glossy blue racing strips (seen above), along with a red finish with black racing stripes, a satin black with “burnt” orange and finally a color scheme with the same orange as the main color with black stripes.
