Purple Dodge Challenger SRT is Nothing to Laugh at: 2012 SEMA Show
Teaming up with comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, Mopar built a one-of-a-kind Dodge Challenger SRT that was unveiled late yesterday afternoon at the 2012 SEMA Show.
Under the hood of the Challenger is a Mopar 426 HEMI engine that’s further modified with a Mopar cold air intake. A custom side-exhaust was built into the rockers before the Challenger got a two-tone paint job: “Ultraviolet” on the body and “Satin” black on the upper half. The front grille is actually a modified Charger grille, while the headlights got a custom cover to give it a more aggressive look.
Integrated fender flares then gives the Challenger more room for its 22-inch HRE wheels which are wrapped with Pirelli tires. The build was completed by Alan Palmer and Palmer’s Customs with Jeff Dunham helping make the tough decisions on the project.
