Cadillac CTS Wagon Getting the Axe
When the next-generation Cadillac CTS model is unveiled, the wagon variant will be missing from its lineup.
And by the looks of things, it won’t be sorely missed. Further proving that Americans aren’t fond of wagon models, the American automaker’s lack of sales on its CTS wagon variant has caused it to be added to the chopping block.
Automotive enthusiasts always wonder why Europeans get the wagon models of certain vehicles that never make it to American soil. Unfortunately, the sales of wagons continue to prove that it’s a weak market in America and the Cadillac CTS wagon is just the newest victim.
Thought to be an addition to the US lineup strictly because it was necessary for the CTS to sell in Europe, this news strengthens rumors that an ATS SportWagon could be introduced for those on the Continent.
