Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept Lands in North America: 2012 LA Auto Show
The Lexus LF-LC Blue concept has just made its North American debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, following up on the Japanese automaker’s LF-LC concept which was unveiled earlier at the Detroit Auto Show.
The LF-LC Blue concept originally debuted in Australia, featuring an Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive system with a powerful and efficient Atkinson cycle combustion engine paired with an advanced, high-energy battery pack. The LF-LC Concept boasts 500 hp, the most of any hybrid from the Japanese automaker.
It’s likely that the debut of the LF-LC Blue concept in North America confirms that Lexus is working towards a production model of the LF-LC, and at the very least, previews the design of future of Lexus models.
Inside, the LF-LC Blue concept packed plenty of next-generation technology from Lexus including a pair of 12.3-inch LCD screens and a touchscreen interface in the center console. The interior is exquisite with a blend of smooth leather, suede, brushed metal trim, and wood accents.
