Race Cars of the 2012 SEMA Show

The world’s largest aftermarket car parts expo isn’t just about wild tuner cars. In fact, race cars make up a large selection of vehicles on display.

That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as many companies test street parts on race cars and also use the venue of motorsports as a grueling test bed for products. Automakers do the same, testing vehicles to improve their driving dynamics, while also using the world of racing as a clever marketing opportunity to showcase their newest models.
