Toyota Considering Building Nissan Juke Rival

Thanks to the Nissan Juke’s success on the market, Toyota is considering bringing out a small crossover, based on the Rugged Sports Coupé concept that debuted back in 2001 at the Chicago Auto Show.

A report from Autocar suggests that Toyota has decided to reassess the plausibility of bringing the Rugged Sport Coupe to market. If the concept does get a green light, it could take its platform from either the Yaris or the Corolla. Both of these platforms could also accommodate a hybrid variant of the small crossover.
