Camaro “Turbo” Theme Car Sports 700-HP V8

Celebrating the upcoming Dreamworks animated movie “Turbo,” Chevy rolled out this widebody Camaro theme car at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. 

Under its high-rise hood is a supercharged V8 that Chevy claims makes 700 hp; it’s mated to an automatic transmission. The car also sports a COPO Camaro hood, front splitter, rear diffuser, a massive rear wing and custom LED lighting.

Being a promotional vehicle, exactly how much of this car actually functions is questionable, especially when it comes to the wheels. Massive 24-inch rims are fitted all around, measuring 10 inches wide in the front and 15 inches wide at the rear. To accommodate their girth, a custom body kit has been fitted on the car along with fully adjustable suspension.

Turbo, the movie, is all about a snail obsessed with speed and needs this Camaro to help him go fast.
