Pikes Peak Hill Climb to be Broadcast Live Streaming Online at RedBull.TV
For the first time ever, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb will be broadcast live streaming online thanks to the adrenaline junkies at Red Bull.
Motorsports fans and thrill seekers alike will be able to catch a full broadcast of all the terrifying action at redbull.tv with cameras throughout the climb and helicopter coverage in the sky, catching all 156 corners of the 12.42 mile course. Packaged with pre-produced interviews with racers to keep the content flowing, the hill climb will be narrated by race veteran and local Colorado Springs AM radio host Dan Cochell.
Starting at 9,300 feet and rising to 14,110 feet, it’s a race against both the clock and fear, as the air thins so much an engine will lose 30 percent of its power while drivers’ reaction times slow – just as they drift around a corner with a 2,000 foot drop-off.
The 91st running of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb takes place on June 30th.
