McLaren’s 911 Fighter Won’t Use Honda Power
When Honda announced that it will be supplying engines to McLaren for F1 racing, rumors began to swirl about a road going McLaren with Honda power, though McLaren has now put those rumors to rest.
“At the moment there is no anticipated impact on the road car division as a result of the Honda deal,” an unnamed McLaren spokesperson told AutoCar.

McLaren has already admitted that it is working on an entry-level sports car that will sit below the MP4-12C (seen above), aimed directly at the Porsche 911 Turbo. No details have been divulged on the car, internally called P13, but it is expected to use a down tuned version of the twin-turbo V8 from the 12C.
