2015 Ford Mustang Details Surface

Ford is currently testing its prototype of the 2015 Mustang and some details are surfacing for the next-generation sports car.

Under the hood, the 2015 Ford Mustang will come with a base model V6 engine while a 2.3-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder will be available as a step up with around 350 hp. On the high end, the 2015 Mustang will be powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 and will be making around 450 hp, similar to the current Boss 302 offering. And the 2015 Ford Mustang will be sporting an independent rear.

As for rumors, the Ford Mustang SVT model might drop its Shelby name and its forced induction. That could mean a naturally-aspirated V8 and Ford reviving the Cobra moniker.

Expect a glimpse of the 2015 Ford Mustang before the end of this year.
