Kia Optima Facelift Spied Testing
The 2014 Kia Optima got a minor refresh with the addition of new LEDs and standard technology, but the Korean automaker is working on a facelift for its sedan model that will make its debut in the near future.
The prototype of the facelifted Kia Optima was spied by AutoGuide’s photographers as it got ready for some serious testing at the Nürburgring. In the spy photos, the prototype sports a full roll cage and Recaro seats on the inside, undoubtedly making it safe for track testing.

Based on what we can see in the spy photos, the Optima will have its LED daytime running lights moved to the top of the headlights, rather than in the bumper in the current model. A new front bumper and grille is also expected with the facelift along with minor changes to the rear end.
