Ram 1500 Black Express Arrives With Attitude This Month
Ram has introduced the “Black Express” model for its 2013 1500 pickup, which the American automaker bills as the “baddest-looking factory-built truck on the market.”
“The new Black Express takes Ram’s aggressive good looks to an all new sinister level by ‘blackening out’ the entire truck while maintaining a great price,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand.
Distinguished by its all-black exterior, the Ram 1500 Black Express features 20-inch black aluminum wheels, a black front fascia with fog lights, black grille surround with black hex-link inserts, black rear bumper and black Ram badges on the grille and tailgate.
All the badging on the side of the vehicle has been removed for a cleaner look. Subtle changes have also made their way onto the lighting of the Ram 1500 Black Express. The headlights are finished with black bezels and the taillights feature a black finish as well.
The 2013 Ram Black Express is available in two- and four-wheel-drive models with a choice of regular cab, quad cab, or crew cab body styles. Pricing starts at $28,050 including a $1,095 destination charge. It will start reaching dealerships this month.
