2014 Jeep Cherokee 4×4 Rated at 24 MPG Combined
Jeep has announced official fuel economy figures for its 2014 Cherokee equipped with Jeep Active Drive I and in 4×4 configuration.
According to the American automaker, EPA is still in the process of testing the front-wheel-drive models, which Jeep expects to have better fuel efficiency.

But as for what Jeep can announce, the 2014 Cherokee with Jeep Active Drive I and the 2.4-liter Tigershark engine is rated at 21 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway for a 24 mpg combined rating. As for the Cherokee equipped with the 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine, it will be rated at 19 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg combined.
Again, EPA ratings for the 4×2 front-wheel-drive Cherokee has not yet been announced, but is expected shortly.
