2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 Has a One Year Waiting List
Those interested in getting the Corvette Stingray Z51 could be in for a long delay, as the waiting list continues to grow.
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 adds an electronic limited slip differential, slotted brake rotors, a dry-sump oil system and more to make the American automaker’s sports car even more track ready. Currently, customers placing orders for the Z51-equipped Stingray could wait for as long as a year, with some even having to wait for the 2015 model year before getting their hands on one.

But of course the initial demand is always high, and even the Stingray’s demand is expected to be higher than its initial supply. But GM is being cautious and won’t be adding a second shift to produce more vehicles, believing that initial demand and hype always subsides back to a normal pace.
