2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid Priced From $26,820

Subaru has officially announced pricing for its 2014 XV Crosstrek Hybrid model, with the versatile wagon starting from $26,820 including destination.

Also available is an XV Crosstrek Hybrid Touring model with a starting price of $30,120. The XV Crosstrek Hybrid is Subaru’s first-ever production hybrid vehicle and will arrive dealerships later this year. All XV Crosstrek Hybrid models are powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder Boxer engine mated to an electric motor with 13.4 hp and 48 lb-ft of torque. The engine is good for 148 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque.

The hybrid model uses the same Active Torque Split version of the Japanese automaker’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive helping preserve the all-weather performance Subaru owners have come to expect. The XV Crosstrek Hybrid Touring model adds a 6.1-inch touchscreen navigation system, leather-trimmed seating and a power moonroof.
