Atlantis Blue JP Edition Genesis Coupe Puts Style First
Hyundai just unveiled its fourth car bound for this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas: a specially-tuned Genesis Coupe.
Built in collaboration by Hyundai and tuner John Pangilinan, the car places a special emphasis on its striking paint color. Sitting beside the hopped-up 1000-hp Genesis Coupe that will also be at this year’s show, the “Atlantis Blue JP Edition Genesis Coupe” looks nothing short of tame.

Of course, it’s also been modified with performance parts as well. It gets a cold air intake, turbo downpipe and performance exhaust. Hyundai didn’t specify what the presumably marginal power gains associated with the bolt-on parts would be.
A coil-over suspension will improve handling while lowering ride height. Sway bars and a performance strut bar also go toward improving handling.
There are also 19-inch wheels with performance tires filling the wells that also house a Brembo brake kit with 15-inch calipers.
Cabin changes include Recaro sport seats and racing harnasses. There’s also a GoPro Hero 3 video camera mounted inside the car to capture in-car footage. The sound system is also gutted and replaced with a long list of aftermarket parts including a pair of 10-inch subwoofers, a new head unit and speakers.
