1,000-HP Hyundai Genesis Coupe Headlines Hyundai SEMA Concepts
Hyundai is keeping up with the tuner crowd at this year’s SEMA Show, unleashing a 1,000-hp Genesis Coupe onto the unsuspecting public.
In total, a trio of customized Genesis Coupes joined a pair of Veloster Turbo models in the Hyundai booth this year. But by far, the most impressive is the Bisimoto creation sporting 1,000 hp while looking mean on the Las Vegas Convention Center show floor thanks to its massive front-mount intercooler.
That’s not to say the other creations aren’t worth mentioning. In fact, Hyundai has one of the most impressive booths out of all the import automakers present at this year’s SEMA Show. Joining the Bisimoto Genesis Coupe on the show floor is the ARK Performance Legato Genesis Coupe, the JP Edition Genesis Coupe, the Fox Marketing Veloster Turbo and the EGR Yellowcake Night Racer Veloster Turbo.
Just by a quick glance through our photos, you’ll be able to tell that Hyundai’s booth not only packed plenty of performance and widebody creations, but spanned the spectrum of color choices available also. The retina-burning EGR Yellowcake Night Racer lives up to its name, but we can’t imagine it doesn’t get plenty of attention on the road out at night with its wicked highlighter-yellow paint job.

Even the Fox Marketing’s unique minty-green paint is refreshing on the eyes. And while the JP Edition Genesis Coupe might not sport such an outrageous color on the exterior, its custom metal widebody and clean lines certainly helps set it apart from the crowd. Lastly, the ARK Performance Legato Genesis Coupe focuses on being the ultimate street car, with plenty of performance and styling changes, making it the complete, streetable package.
