2014 BMW X1 Gets Minor Upgrades

Heading to dealerships next spring, the 2014 BMW X1 will see some minor changes in the form of exterior accents, a more refined interior and new equipment features.

New stylish and bold air intake vents can be seen on the front end of the X1 while standard equipment now includes daytime running lights. Also new for the model are 17-inch wheels featuring a V-spoke design. Added to the available paint finishes is a Sparking Brown Metallic.

Buyers opting for the BMW xLine, Sport Line or M Sport package will now get the surface of the instrument cluster visor covered with soft-touch material with lapfolded seams. BMW will also be expanding its ConnectedDrive services next year with new features such as Online Entertainment and ECO PRO Analyser, though those are unlikely going to be heading to North America.
