BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe Shown in Renderings

The latest rumor spinning around the internet is that the image above and those shown below are early renderings of a 4 Series Gran Coupe from BMW.

BMW is expected to have its coupe sedan variant of the 4 Series ready sometime next year, but the purportedly official patent images might be offering an early glimpse. BMW hasn’t confirmed that the images are legitimate and isn’t likely to.

What is likely, on the other hand, is that the car shown above will offer the same powertrain options as the 3 Series it would share DNA with. That would include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 240 hp and a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with 300.
