Most Read Car Reviews of the Week: December 1 – 8
The Chevy Corvette Convertible easily tops the list this week as the most popular review on AutoGuide.
Under the hood lives a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 that makes 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, hooked up to either a seven-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Chevrolet advertises 17 mpg city and 29 mpg highway with the manual.
Second on the list this week is one expensive ride, the 2013 Aston Martin Rapide S. A 6.0-liter V12 sends 550 HP and 457 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, but all that power doesn’t come cheap, as AutoGuide’s test unit rang in with a $217,449 price tag.
Another high-power convertible makes the list this week, the 2014 Jaguar XK-R Convertible. A 5.0-liter supercharged V8 pumps out 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque in this british sports car.
BMW makes the list in fourth position with the 2013 320i. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the 320i generating just 180 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, but the price makes up for it, starting at $34,790 with our test vehicle coming in at $44,195.
Last up this week is a near luxury hybrid, the Acura ILX Hybrid. The car is EPA rated at 39 mpg in the city, 38 mpg on the highway and 38 mpg combined. Pricing starts at $29,795 and climbs to $35,295 with the Tech Package.
