Scion FR-S Monogram Series gets Premium Features
Scion is offering a new premium trim level called the monogram series for those interested in more content inside either the FR-S or tC.
Features that come with the monogram series FR-S include heated leather front seats fit with Alcantara inserts, push-button start, HID headlights along with LED running lights, a premium audio system with navigation, dual-zone auto climate control, a frameless rear-view mirror, a color keyed rear spoiler, a rear seat center armrest and carpet cargo mat.
When fitted with a manual transmission, the monogram series FR-S costs $28,155 including delivery, while with the automatic it will sell for $29,255.
When it comes to the tC, most of the features are the same as in the FR-S and include heated leather seats, a leather shift knob, a rear window wiper, a color keyed spoiler, updated interior trim with accent stitching, a premium audio system with navigation and carpets for the floor and cargo area.
The monogram series tC starts at $22,155 including delivery when fitted with a manual transmission while an automatic model will cost $23,155.
Scion is only planning to build 2,000 of the monogram series FR-S models and 2,500 tCs. Both cars will make their first public debut at the upcoming 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
