Tesla to Replace Wall Adapters Following Garage Fire
After a garage fire was blamed on Tesla’s home charging system for the Model S sedan, the company is taking measures by replacing wall charger adapters for all current customers.
Reports claim that the adapters have been overheating, which in at least one case lead to a fire. New charger connectors, the piece that joins the Tesla issued-charging cable with the wall outlet, will be mailed out to customers in the next two weeks to negate the issues.
