Toyota GRMN Mark X Concept Generates Jealousy
Toyota has debuted a concept version of Toyota’s Mark X sedan from GRMN at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon, giving North American enthusiasts another reason to wish it would make it to America.
Under the hood of the GRMN Mark X Concept is a 3.5-liter V6 mated to a six-speed manual transmission. But it’s the treatment that GRMN has given the sedan that makes us salivate. Its aggressive stance and aerodynamic upgrades makes it look more like a sports car than a family sedan while its subtle red contrasts give it a race-inspired design.

The Mark X Concept also features special suspension tuning, disc brakes and Torsen limited-slip differential for “even more satisfying control and a greater joy of driving,” according to the Japanese automaker. It’s a shame North Americans will never get a chance to experience that joy of driving a Mark X, even in stock form.
Joining the GRMN Mark X Concept was another custom Mark X sedan from Toyota G Sports.
