Jeep Considering Power-Retractable Top for Wrangler
Jeep is considering adding a power-retractable top to its next-generation Wrangler.
The fourth-generation Wrangler is still in the early stages of development, but don’t be surprised to see a power-retractable top option for those that don’t want to fuss around with manually-retracting soft tops or removable hard tops. Also under consideration for the next-gen Wrangler are removable doors, while the American automaker is looking for ways to redesign the Wrangler’s frame to offer a smoother ride while retaining solid axles.

Previous rumors state that the 2016 Jeep Wrangler could ditch its solid-axle design in order to save weight. Other features such as the Wrangler’s folding windshield and rear-mounted spare tire could also be axed.
