Porsche 911 GT3 Fire Solution Around the Corner
Owners of one of Porsche‘s best-performing sports cars might be able to return to driving them soon.
“We know the reason and the problem-solving measures,” said Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller during a press conference. “We’re testing them.”
Last month, Porsche halted sales of its 911 GT3 due to several reports of fires coming from the engine bay. The German automaker recalled 785 copies of its 911 GT3 from the current model year the same month after two vehicles were confirmed with engine failures.

The company also requested that owners stop driving their vehicles, which cost upwards of $200,000, until the necessary repairs are done.
Currently, no accidents or injuries related to the issue have been reported.
